MIDI Links

Bomi AKA MIDI Papa is a great sequencer and MIDI archivist. This is one of the best sites for MIDI technical information. His archives are mostly off-line but he does take email requests.

Michael Walthius has a song featured in the Songwriter Showcase and the best original MIDI site on the web. The Music of Cyberspace pages highlight his original music and great graphic design. He recently released a CD, Dreaming In Stereo, that features studio arrangements of the music you'll find at his site.

Don Carroll's MIDI-Riff-Bulge has a lot of pop and jazz tunes. Don's done some solid arrangement work on these tunes.

Doc Doc's Place shows off his sequencing skills on a nice mix of classic rock and rhythm & blues. Doc's Jammin Tracks is a great practice tool for guitar, bass or drums, you choose which instrument to mute. Hats off to Doc!

Julio Lema does metal and hard rock sequences - bands like The Cult and Metallica.

Rimfire is Gale Bass and Bobby Keyes. They've got some great rock, blues and R&B sequences that they also use as backing tracks at live gigs.

The MIDI Database has just completed a major facelift, many cool features were added. The music there is mostly contemporary pop, but he has some nice themes too.

Jim's MIDI Links is a nice resource for tracking down music by specific artists. He's built links for each artist to specific major web sites.

Nigel Spencer has been publishing the Synth Zone for a couple of years now and it's a very valuable resource for synth players and MIDI musicians. You'll find patches, shareware, links to manufacturers and plenty of other good info too.

Dave Dag's Anti-Elevator MIDI pages haven't been updated lately, but he's performed some of the best Alternative sequences on the web.

Use Angel Grrl's MIDI Search page to track down that hard-to-find midi file. It's got forms to track down songs by Title and Artist.

The Virtual Pipeline has a great collection of current hit music. If you're looking for alternative, rock, rap or pop music, check it out.
